What makes the best outdoor banner?
Start with the location and how long you need it up. Clear artwork, strong contrast, the right size, and secure hanging matter as much as vinyl weight. Our 15 oz vinyl is the most popular choice; 13 oz works for many everyday jobs, while 18 oz also supports double-sided printing. Tell us where it will hang before choosing finishing.
What is the difference between 13 oz, 15 oz, and 18 oz vinyl banners?
The weights describe the material. Heavier vinyl can give a banner a more substantial feel, but the right choice depends on size, placement, and use. Double-sided printing is offered with 18 oz vinyl in this configurator. The material upcharge is calculated from your banner size.
How do I choose the right banner size?
Measure the space first, then consider how far away people will read it. Keep the main message short and high contrast. You can pick a listed size or enter a custom width and height in feet or inches. The preview keeps the proportions of the size you select.
Where should banner grommets go?
Standard banner grommets are placed on the top and bottom at about 2–3 foot intervals. You can choose top, bottom, left, right, or a combination of those edges and set custom spacing. The preview shows the placement you select.
Should I choose grommets or pole pockets?
Grommets work well with ties, bungees, or other suitable hardware. Pole pockets let a pole or rod pass through the finished edge. Pole pockets cannot be combined with grommets or welding in this configurator, so choose the hanging method that matches your installation.
Do wind slits make a banner windproof?
No. Wind slits are an available finishing option, but they do not replace a secure installation or a material choice suited to the site. For exposed locations, check the mounting plan and local conditions before ordering.
What artwork file should I upload for a custom banner or sign?
Upload PNG, JPG, WebP, or PDF artwork up to 25 MB. Raster files need 300 DPI at the final print size; vector artwork in a PDF is also welcome. If you need a design or logo vectorization, choose design help for a flat $30 per design, regardless of print quantity. Tell us what you have in mind; we confirm a proof before production.
Can I print on both sides of a yard sign?
Yes. Choose single- or double-sided printing, then 4 mm or 10 mm corrugated plastic. Pricing changes with the material, printed sides, size, and quantity tier.
What is the difference between 4 mm and 10 mm yard signs?
Both are corrugated plastic options. The 10 mm selection is thicker and priced separately in the size chart. Pick based on how the sign will be installed and how substantial you want it to feel.
Why did my yard sign price change when I changed quantity?
Each yard sign size has a minimum of one full print sheet. The 18 × 24 inch size yields 10 signs per sheet, so its minimum is 10 signs. If you request 14, the print charge covers two full sheets (20 sign positions). The unit price tier is based on full sheets: 1–9, 10–50, or 51 or more.
How long does delivery take for custom banners and signs?
Standard orders are produced the next day and ship by overnight service. Eligible orders placed by 10:30 a.m. Central can select rush for same-day shipping; the rush fee adds 100% to the applicable product price. Timing depends on artwork approval and production capacity.
What if there is a problem with my finished print?
We want the finished piece to match the approved details. If we make a production mistake, tell us promptly and we'll review it and work to make it right.
How much do custom vehicle magnets cost?
Choose a listed size for its per-magnet price. Rounded corners are included. Quantity and any eligible same-day shipping rush are reflected in the displayed total.
How much are Banner Barn business cards?
Our 3.5 × 2 inch business cards are $28 for 250, $40 for 500, and $75 for 1,000 with single-sided printing. Double-sided printing adds $5 per package, regardless of quantity. Shipping is included.
Can I use a new-customer discount?
New customers can enter code BARN at checkout for 10% off their first eligible order. Eligibility is determined by order history.
